Gerishna: The Fifth Quran and Itrat (The Prophet’s Kinship) Olympiad, which is a competition for students of the Quranic Sciences Colleges all around Iran, was inaugurated on Tuesday, April 21st, in Gerash. The Olympiad will be closed tomorrow, on Friday, April 24th, in the amphitheater of Gerash College of Medicine.
Dr. Nejati, dean of the Quranic Sciences College of Gerash, and the first speaker in the inauguration ceremony, welcomed male and female students of the 22 Colleges who will compete in different categories (reading, understanding and memorizing Quran) in two successive days. As a part of this Olympiad, an exhibition of religious and Quranic activities is also established in the campus of the college.
