A Dowry Parade for Easy Marriage

Gerishna: What is yet another way to persuade the young generation to marry? And not just any kind of marriage. How can they be persuaded to take it easy? Perhaps if the newly-married destitute couples received a pickup full of dowry, and if the other saw a caravan or dowries …

Perhaps this is how two charity groups in Gerash, the Imam Zein-al-Abedin mosque and Vali Asr Charity Center, came to the idea of boarding ten dowries (including a refrigerator, a cooker, a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, a blanket and two carpets for each newly-married couple) on ten pickups and parading in the streets on Friday, June 5^th.

And the parade is going to be repeated every month, until no one is afraid of marriage, and of taking it easy.
